Pop Up Festival
Pop Up Festival brings books and stories spectacularly to life through a packed programme of sensational Pop Up Experiences – imaginative events, activities & artworks created especially for Pop Up by children’s writers, illustrators, poets & storytellers. A world-class event for children of all ages, the annual Pop Up Festival of Stories takes place in London’s King’s Cross.
As part of Pop Up Festival 2012, we devised a communications and marketing strategy to support the annual children’s festival.
Working with the Pop Up Projects team we developed and managed the consumer media and social media campaign, managed the media partnership with The Guardian liaising with its editorial, events, advertising and bookshop teams, coordinated the creation of content for future marketing opportunities, including photographing and filming of key school, family and festival events, and the coordination and production of signage at the festival including its innovative giant multi-coloured story cubes which featured at the festival site.
