For six years running, the Tools of Change for Publishing conference in New York was the premiere event for professionals and companies looking to explore and shape the future of publishing. The sell-out event brought together innovative people, companies and organisations to discuss compelling new business models and the strategic objectives of an ever-changing industry.
In 2009, the Frankfurt Book Fair and O’Reilly Media teamed up to bring Tools of Change to Europe in the run-up to the Frankfurt Book Fair. In 2012 the event drew about 500 attendees from over 35 countries and featured over 30 high-quality keynotes and panel discussions.
The Literary Platform worked with O’Reilly’s TOC conferences at Frankfurt to pull together speakers for the Innovator’s Track at these two conferences in 2011 and 2012. Sophie Rochester, Founder of The Literary Platform chaired all panels for the Innovator’s Track in 2012.
