Junior Marketing Analyst, Audiences & Audio – Penguin Random House

Can you help us understand the story behind the numbers? As our new Junior Marketing Analyst, you’ll do just that, by digging into our data to measure how our marketing campaigns can reach audiences better.

You’ll make sure that our campaigns always hit the mark, by sharing data reports and updates with marketing teams across Penguin Random House.

As the first point of contact for our Author & Marketing Solutions team, you’ll answer regular and ad hoc queries, escalating questions to your team when necessary.

You’ll support our creative teams throughout the campaign cycle – from sharing data insights pre-campaign to producing post-campaign reports to measure effectiveness and areas of improvement.

Digital Analyst, Distribution – Penguin Random House

Are you good at number crunching? Do you have hawk-like attention to detail? If you answered yes, then you could be great for our Digital Analyst role in the Distribution division. We’re looking for someone who can work within the wider Credit Services team processing all of our book sales orders on to our SAP system.

You’ll be working on and manipulating large spreadsheets with sales volumes in the millions, so you need to be comfortable working with numbers at high volumes.

This role is at a crucial stage of the digital team’s sales process, looking at eBook orders from key retailers such as Amazon, Apple and Google. You will therefore need to be a strong communicator and able to work well when high pressure situations arise.

You may be looking for your first entry level finance role or have prior experience, before but if you’re a whiz on excel, have strong communication skills and have some experience with SAP then we’d love to hear from you.

Interim Marketing Manager – South Bank London

An excellent opportunity for an experienced interim Marketing Manager to join a high-profile organisation based in South Bank, working with some of the leading names in London’s cultural and leisure sectors. The role would be for an initial period of eight weeks, from early October, with the possibility of an extension.  The successful candidate will be offered a salary of £120-£130 per day.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The successful candidate will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment,

– Lead on the planning, delivery, evaluation of campaigns across digital, social, offline, for the leisure segment (South Bank London) and MICE (South Bank Venues).

– Ensure the timely analysis and reporting of performance against targets. Share evaluation reports with team, management and members to inform future campaigns.

– Maintain and grow usage and awareness of our rewards programme, the STAR Card, ensuring targeted promotion amongst the local community.

– Manage agencies to ensure the effective delivery of services, in line with contract specifications, scope of works and agency briefs.

– Set measurable targets for ouralways-onchannels (digital, social, print, email), managing the workload of our Marketing Officer and contributors to ensure content is delivered to schedule.

– Work collaboratively with our members and external partners to host press and fam trips, arrange partnerships and co-marketing initiatives.

– Ensure campaigns are accurately budgeted and delivered on time and on budget.

– Assist the wider marketing and communications teams in delivering PR campaigns, communications, and member events

The UK has a unique community with strengths in art, culture and technology, sparking trends and influencing creative practice. CreativeXR unlocks the opportunity for this community to experiment with immersive content that inspires audiences.

Immersive technologies (including virtual and augmented reality) have significant potential to enable new formats of creative content for audiences and users. This emerging medium offers the arts and culture sector an unprecedented opportunity to create outstanding content that inspires us, brings us together and teaches us about ourselves and the world around us.

Focused on the creative industries, particularly the arts and culture sector; the three month programme works with the best creative teams to help develop concepts and prototypes of immersive content by offering access to finance, facilities, industry leaders and commissioning bodies, and the opportunity to pitch for further development funding. The programme has been developed by Digital Catapult and Arts Council England, with support from Innovate UK.

CreativeXR supports:
– Compelling new creative content formats enabled by immersive technology.

Marketing Assistant – Wordsworth Trust

This role would suit someone looking to gain marketing experience, working on a range of projects focused on promoting Cumbria’s iconic heritage attraction and its cultural events.

Part admin, part PA plus all aspects of marketing and communications, from digital marketing to processing group bookings. You will be an excellent communicator, written and spoken, and be comfortable speaking to anybody. But you will also be happy with filing, processing the budget and database maintenance. It’s really a very varied job!

You will need some familiarity with Microsoft Office and be willing to learn new software and new techniques in social media.

Pioneering Canterbury Digital Producer – The Marlowe Theatre

As a World Heritage Centre with an international reputation, culture and heritage defines Canterbury’s personality. The story of the city’s literary legacy is rich and fascinating and its influence resonates today.

The Marlowe and Canterbury Museums and Galleries have come together to develop a new cultural heritage venue in the heart of historic Canterbury. Opening next April in a Grade 1 listed medieval building, The Marlowe Kit will house a unique fusion of heritage, theatre, writing, learning and digital technology, celebrating Canterbury’s stories and its storytellers and using them to inspire creativity, new writing and the telling of new tales. Central to The Kit will be the life and legacy of Canterbury’s most famous literary son, Christopher Marlowe.

The delivery of the The Marlowe Kit is enabled by ‘Pioneering Canterbury’, a cultural placemaking project, supported by Arts Council England and the Heritage Lottery Fund. It is part of a larger East Kent project, Pioneering Places, that involves partners in Folkestone, Thanet and Dover.
