This is how our business model works: Authors upload their manuscripts onto our platform (website & app) and readers enjoy them for a limited amount of time for free. We then analyze aggregated reading behaviors & patterns in order to identify the books which are performing the best and any hidden gems. These authors then sign a royalty contract with us and we publish their titles.
We only started publishing last year and have currently published 17 authors, 16 of which have become bestselling authors in their categories and their works have ranked in the Top 100 among ALL six million titles on Amazon and we continue to publish one title per week.
We’re a team of 15 hardworking, dedicated and comfortzone-ophobic individuals and have just raised $5m to level up and get closer to our 10-years goal – to have the NY Times Bestseller List being dominated by Inkitt titles. Apply now.
You:
– Have 1+ years of Performance Marketing experience and a Growth Hacker mindset
– Have spent over 100k in Facebook Ads
– Have spent over 10k in Google AdWords
– Are knowleadable with Native Ads
– Can write SQL-queries and HTML or are willing to learn within a short time-frame
– Are an over-achiever and crazy about your own self-development
– Are extremely goal-driven, analytical and equipped with a hands-on mentality
– Are even more motivated now that you know that we work Mon-Sat
– Are fluent in English
The Role:
– You will be the person responsible for managing and optimizing all paid ads
– You will run A/B tests to optimize all funnels and lead our growth meetings
– Your compensation will include meaningful equity ownership

DIGITAL CONTENT AND AUDIO ASSISTANT (10 MONTH CONTRACT) – HARPERCOLLINS

Our Digital team are looking for a Digital Content and Audio Assistant to join them in a fixed term contract until June 2018. This is a split role between ebooks and Audio. 50% of the time will be working in the backlist ebooks team, the other 50% will be spent assisting the audio team.

Relationship Manager, Literature – Arts Council England

Contract: Fixed term (maternity cover for 9 months from November 2017 to 7 August 2018), working 3 days/21 hours per week

Arts Council England is a government-funded body dedicated to promoting the performing, visual and literary arts in England

The role will involve managing client relationships with literature organisations in London, data analysis and report writing, and performance monitoring (with approximately half of the Literature national portfolio organisations being based in London, you would be expected to manage a full load of clients).

As a Relationship Manager for the Arts Council, you will also be expected to engage with a broad range of non-literature specific issues, including children and young people, diversity and equality, touring and sustainability, and to be a confident communicator with a range of constituencies.

Literature Officer – Creative Scotland

Creative Scotland are seeking someone to join our Literature Team and support our work in developing the literature and publishing sector

Creative Scotland is the national development agency for Scotland’s arts, screen and creative industries. We are looking for a Literature Officer to join us and support Creative Scotland’s work in the context of our 10-year Strategic Plan and our Annual Plan.

You will be an active member of the Literature team and will assess and make recommendations on a range of funding applications, projects and funding. You will also be expected to lead on a number of different projects and support the wider work of the Literature Team across a variety of different programmes.

Relationship Manager, Literature – Arts Council England

Starting in October 2017, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to literature development in London, one of the world’s leading literary cities. The Arts Council invests in a diverse range of literature development agencies, independent publishers, literary magazines and in a wide variety of literary forms including fiction, poetry, literary non-fiction, literature in translation, spoken word, literature in education, and storytelling. London is home to some of the world’s leading publishers, has a thriving literary scene, and is a destination for celebrated international writers.

There is a vacancy for a Relationship Manager, Literature in the Arts Council’s Literature Team in London (which forms part of a wider team including Literature, Libraries, Dance and Combined Arts). This is a permanent full-time position. Candidates should have broad experience of contemporary literature and London’s literary scene. This role includes a responsibility for world writing and literature in translation, so candidates should be able to demonstrate a strong knowledge of literature in translation, its relation to international markets, and current issues facing translators and UK publishers of literature from other languages and cultures.

Senior Lecturer/Reader in Digital Humanities – University of East Anglia – Faculty of Arts and Humanities

The Faculty of Arts and Humanities at UEA is seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer/Reader in Digital Humanities. We are looking for an outstanding researcher with a strong track record of research funding and international standard publications to lead our UEA Digital Humanities incubator (UEADHi) and to establish an interdisciplinary research centre. In addition to the research portfolio, we seek candidates with a strong record of teaching and curriculum development along with leadership in the field of Digital Humanities through participation in professional bodies and networks.

The person appointed to this role will lead on strengthening the productive interdisciplinary connections across existing initiatives and partnerships within and between Schools and specialist resources including the East Anglia Film Archive, the British Archive of Contemporary Writing, the UEA Publishing Project and the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts, along with cognate postgraduate provision. The goal will be to establish a research centre in the Digital Humanities in the next five-year period.
