Future Writer: the impact of digitization on established and new writers

The Literary Platform’s Sophie Rochester, The Bookseller’s Philip Jones, novelist and digital writer Kate Pullinger and Tea-Fuelled Art’s (and Birkbeck student) George Lewkowicz will discuss the impact of digital developments on new writers’ work. Subjects will include multimedia texts, new forms of writing and the commercial realities for writers making their debut in the digitized world. www.writershub.co.uk is a platform for literary writing, a forum for the exchange of ideas, a library of writers’ resources and a channel for the dissemination of knowledge and good practice from the Birkbeck Creative Writing Programme.

This event takes place at Birkbeck College, 532 Malet Street, London on Thursday 26 May, 6pm as part of Birkbeck Arts Week.
