Get plugged into a fantastic new project – The Electric Bookshop – where anyone can take part in live interactive debates, hear from special guests speaking live from the future and see innovative and pioneering projects that won’t fit neatly between bookends.
The Literary Platform will be taking part in the first event on Wednesday 27th October 6.30-8.30pm, Inspace, 1 Crichton Street, Edinburgh EH8 9AB. If you want to be there in person then entry is free – you’ll just need to register on Eventbrite. Click here to register.
The Literary Platform will be at the event as Polar Bear’s ‘Electric Friend’, while Eli Horowitz of McSweeney’s will be the ‘Electric Penpal’… sounds like fun!
The Electric Bookshop aims to bring together people with a common interest in technology, literature, design and publishing. It’s a discussion and demonstration forum for literary and technology types, as well as being a great social. You can follow the Polar Bear on twitter @electricbkshop
