IC tomorrow has launched a new contest to encouraging digital innovation in the mobile entertainment space.
There are four sector-specific challenges, developed in collaboration with sector trade bodies: BPI (British Recorded Music Industry); the PA (Publishers Association); PPA (Professional Publishers Association) and Ukie (UK Interactive Entertainment) and startups are being invited to submit an idea for a new application, product or service.
Winners will each receive up to £25,000 and the opportunity to work with relevant industry trial partners to help bring their ideas to fruition.
To apply, it is not necessary to be currently active in the mobile entertainment industry. However, you need to have a specific product, platform or service in mind, even if it is only at the ideas stage.
The contest opens: Monday 2nd June
Deadline for submissions: Tuesday 29th July, 12 noon
