We are looking for two brilliant and imaginative Season Producers to shape and deliver our new programmes. Our two Seasons a year will each explore an urgent, contemporary human concern in a variety of live and digital formats, from spoken word to comedy, music, literature, art, film and conversation.
You will be passionate about the role that culture can play in society, have an interest in widening the range of perspectives and voices heard in the mainstream, and an ear – and eye – for words used skilfully and powerfully.
Visual Storyteller – Penguin Random House

As our Visual Storyteller, you’ll bring the Penguin Random House brand and narrative to life through visually compelling and creative storytelling.
We are a brand that is all about celebrating the power of the written word but we are speaking to consumers who increasingly value visual content. In this new role you’ll be responsible for developing our visual communications strategy through photography, imagery, videos, infographics, and memes.
Reporting to the Communications Director, you’ll tell stories through visual and shareble assets. You’ll partner with our Creative Responsibility team to bring our social purpose to life, HR on our employer branding and our publishing houses to amplify their communications. You’ll share your expertise across the company through networking and training. Externally, you’ll bring and build relationships with a network of contacts, including freelancers, agencies and potential partners.
Creative Content Producer, Group Communications – Penguin Random House

Could you capture our story?
As our new Creative Content Producer, you’ll produce compelling digital content for our company websites and social platforms, including penguinrandomhouse.co.uk and @PenguinRHUK. Whether that’s writing news stories, commissioning blogs or creating social cards – you’ll generate digital, visual communications and content to amplify the story of Penguin Random House UK.
Reporting to the Digital Communications Manager, you’ll find innovative ways to champion our world-class books, authors, campaigns and colleagues. From managing our Instagram and YouTube channels, to creating assets that tell audiences about our Creative Responsibility strategy, to thinking about the ways in which we can improve the user experience for our channels, you’ll be able to visualise, create and commission eye-catching content.
Digital Editor (Together Science Can) – The Wellcome Trust

This role will be responsible for the administration and as act as the creative voice behind all Together Science Can social media platforms to ensure high levels of support and engagement from target audiences. Work with multidisciplinary teams to create engaging stories, reach new audiences and build support from across the scientific community.
In this role you will:
– Design and implement a social media strategy to align with campaign goals, identifying ways to scale our communities and connect with new people.
– Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news).
– Engage with campaign advocates and supporters and map key events and plan activities.
– Work with campaign partners to commission and repurpose content and ensure the campaign is diverse and inclusive.
– Develop any other digital content that may be required such as newsletters or media buying.
– Monitor delivery and evaluate the performance of the campaign including Google Analytics.
Broadcast and Digital Programme Coordinator – The Roundhouse

As Broadcast and Digital Programme Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to help devise and deliver a coherent and dynamic programme of Broadcast and Digital projects, workshops, projects, masterclasses, digital content and performances for young people aged 11-25yrs. You will also support on broadcast productions and projects and work closely with the Trainee Station Managers at Roundhouse Radio. You will also liaise closely with our Youth Policy and Engagement Team to ensure clear progression for young creatives and that all relevant data is captured and evaluated.

– Project manage the implementation of the University’s new Research Information System (RIS)
– Manage the ongoing administration and development of the RIS, as well as existing repositories (Eprints and Figshare)

Funded PhD Opportunities in Digital Design, Digital Media and Digital Arts – Centre for Doctoral Training in Digital Design, Media and Arts

The 3D3 Centre for Doctoral Training in Digital Design, Media and Arts is now inviting applications for its October 2018 cohort of PhD studentships. 3D3 is an AHRC-funded partnership between the universities of the West of England (UWE), Plymouth and Falmouth, creating exciting opportunities for practice-led doctoral students in three fields of study: digital design, digital media and digital arts (including music and performance). A number of PhD studentships (covering fees plus an annual stipend) are offered to applicants of the highest quality.
3D3 students benefit from the combined resources of the three universities and enjoy a bespoke training programme that can be extended through a period of external placement. The consortium has a wide network of businesses and arts-based organisations. Students will be based at one of the three institutions depending on the focus of their research and should indicate their preference in their application. This is a unique opportunity to become part of a new generation of creative scholar-practitioners working at the forefront of a rapidly expanding research landscape.
