The Space Between Us : 27 & 28 March

The National Association for Literature Development will host The Space Between Us conference on 27 and 28 March 2012. In the context of shifting economic concerns, hybrid art forms, and emerging platforms and social technology, the conference will create a space to think and talk about the future of literature development.

The line-up for the two-day event features speakers representing new forms of publishing, online society, technology and gaming. In addition to a schedule of talks, there will be a series of Open Space discussions for rethinking the possibilities for literature organisations and individual activists.

The Literary Platform founder and director, Sophie Rochester, will speak on ‘The Space Between’ panel, exploring the spaces writers, readers and audiences occupy between traditional conceptions of literature and new spaces opened up by technology.

The Space Between Us conference takes place on 27–28 March at The Tabernacle, London. Visit the website for more information and to book tickets.
